Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. The actress gained fame in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors in a series of ten episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. The actress made her Hollywood debut on two shows. The first one was Hollywood & Wine a musical comedy project that starred choristers where she played an aspiring young actor. In the 9th season of Scrubs she was Maya who plays a beautiful medical student. The complete series abruptly end. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy called Good to Shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she appeared in B-series films and short series. It was in 2013 that she was discovered more widely. After having appeared in six episodes of the crime drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first regular part in the web-series Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia, the actress got a number of new projects. Also, she was the answer to Chad Michael Murray in the two first seasons. After that, she appeared in two more feature films with the setting of an aircraft. The role she plays is that of a flight assistant. Matador is a television series that she has created along with Gabriel Luna.
