tito ortiz-1Jacob Christopher is an American mixed martial artist and politician. He is currently signed by Combate Americas. Two of Ortiz's appearances at the Ultimate Fighting Championship are his most well-known. He was a former Light Heavyweight champion and held that title from April 14th, 2000 until September 26 in 2003. He was a pioneer in the sport, along with Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. Ortiz was the most lucrative pay per view star of 2006 because of his bouts with Forrest Griffin, Ken Shamrock, and Liddell.
