Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIka Paduko or [paDukoor [paDuko]) is an Indian movie actress. She is mainly seen in films that have a predominantly Hindi accent. It is among the highest-paid actresses in India, and her accolades include three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the 100 most influential influential people in the world in 2018. They also awarded her the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone was the daughter to badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. As a teenager, she played badminton in National level competitions. She later walked away from her professional career to work as a fashion model. She soon received offers for film roles, and she started her acting career in 2006 with her character's title in her debut film Kannada film, Aishwarya. Padukone appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan a dual actor on the film Om Shanti Om, her first Bollywood film that was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award as Best Female Debut. Padukone was praised for her part as the lead in Love Aaj Kal, but the film suffered a minor backlash.
