Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Born into an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mother enjoyed watching films and instilled a passion for movies in her daughter and also. Paula became involved in many co-curricular events at school however she showed particular passion for dramatics. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends as well as participating in the school's stage productions. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly was awed by her experience. She was assigned a 3 month task to produce documentary films for PBS. After completing the task, she began being an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Following the completion of her project then she began putting together documentary films. While she was happy with her work but she always dreamed of becoming an actress. Her first acting gig came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
