Drake and Bad Bunny collaborated for the track MIA MIA (2018), while Madonna joined forces with Maluma to record Medellin, 2019 In 2020, a few Reggaeton artists were complaining about the advancing of the genre toward the mainstream. Yet, a young generation like Rauw Alejandro was keen to continue the evolution. It was often associated with electronic dance as well as different types.
